UDHAMPUR: District Administration Udhampur today demolished fifteen illegal structures on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway.
On the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Dr Piyush Singla, an anti encroachment drive was conducted by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Udhampur Viqar Giri along with a team of Revenue officers/Officials and representatives of National Highway Authority of India from Bali to Dramthal in the jurisdiction of Niabat Dramthal .
During the drive, 15 illegal structures constructed along the side of Highway were demolished on the spot.
As per the ACR, the anti encroachment drive will continue till all the illegal structure constructed are removed. National Highway Authority was asked to flag the ROW so that illegal structures can be removed. District Administration Udhampur asked public to desist from encroachments failing which strict action will be initiated against the defaulters.
