How long does it take to film the home?
- It takes about 2 hours.
Will I have to be in front of the camera?
- We encourage the listing agent to be on camera and introduce the home. You must also have a short "script" written out for the voice-over details of the home while viewers watch. The best way to start is by looking at the videos other agents have done in the past www.openhouseatx.com
Can I review the video before it goes on the air?
-Yes. You will get a review copy if you want one. The deadline to submit the show for broadcast is every Wednesday. If we have the video edited and approved by then, then it will be on the coming Sunday of that week.
Will I get a copy for my website or social media?
- Yes, with the purchase of any of the Open House ATX plans the realtor will receive a digital online copy of the listing that will be emailed to them.
Will being on TV really sell my home?
- We provide a real estate marketing/advertising service. TV is the most effective, area wide form of advertising. Open House ATX targets home buyers and listing/buying agents who watch the show. Our members have sold homes directly from the show and they have seen an increase in traffic to their websites, increase in calls, and increase in name recognition due to TV branding. The more you are on TV, the more people will see you and recognize you for their future buying or selling needs.
How much does it all cost?
- It all depends on the plan you choose. A year long membership costs $1000 for the entire year or $85 month-to-month with a year contract. If you would like additional homes featured you only pay $85 per each additional home as you need it.
- A single home listing costs $250/per month.
- Payment is due after we produce the home tour video and it is approved by the realtor and before it goes on TV. We accept all major credit/debit cards and personal checks. An invoice will be sent to you and when paying with credit/debit a receipt will be sent to you confirming payment.
I thought broadcast TV would be really expensive, so why isn't it?
- Open House ATX is a home listing show for real estate agents who need to use a broad range of marketing tools and we understand that the price needs to be fair for you to join. Our major sponsors cover the majority of TV airtime fees and we here at Digital Exposure are experts in negotiating and finding inexpensive marketing airtime in broadcast television.
Can I get a local business to sponsor my spot on the show and on TV?
- Yes! Any local business that would like to advertise using our services is more than welcome to sponsor your TV airtime. It can range from plumbers to landscaping to A/C Heating companies to mortgage lenders and title companies. They get a commercial for their business and you get to be on TV free of charge.
