JAMMU: Congress senior leaders in order to mobilize public opinion against BJP wrong policies in J&K on Sunday addressed a massive public gathering at Block Marh in Ghou Manhasan.The senior leaders who addressed the huge gathering include former Ministers Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, former MLA Th Balwan Singh, Distt Jammu Rural President Hari Singh Chib. Youth President Uday Banu Chib also addressed the meeting. Among those present on the occasion include Rajinder Kumar Happy, Sarpanch Jagdish, Block President Ashwani Sharma, Corporator Rashpal, Lala Devi Dass, Rattan Sharma, Avtar Singh, Balkar Singh, Shivam Sharma beside others.Speaking on the occasion, Former Minister Mula Ram launched a scathing attack on the BJP government, alleging that every section of the society, including farmers, traders and government employees were fed up with this “anti-people” dispensation. He urged the people to get rid of the “anti-people” BJP government in J&K in the next Assembly elections. He said all sections of the society are suffering because of “anti-people policies” of the BJP government.Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla said that the BJP’s claim of providing ‘pro-people’ governance stands exposed as both the LG Administration and Central Government have failed miserably to address the issues affecting the general public. He castigated the BJP government, saying that the common man is going through the worst sufferings under the current dispensation by ignoring the agonies of the countrymen. He said that the country is presently going through a state of crisis.Bhalla advised the BJP to stop rhetoric and focus on development and employment in marginalized Jammu and Kashmir.District Jammu Rural President Hari Singh Chib lambasted Modi and J&K BJP leaders for spreading lies in the name of nationalism and patriotism. JKPYC President Uday Banu Chib in his address claimed that though BJP leaders are claiming that all is well, I feel otherwise. Farmers have been agitating; youth are jobless and working class suffering immensely.”He criticised BJP Govt at the Centre for its failure to provide Government jobs to youth of country in general and of J&K in particular besides depriving unemployed of desired jobs. He said that BJP led Government at the Centre befooled the masses with its lies and bogus assurances besides its UT leadership misled innocent youth on name of jobs.“General public is fed up with these lies and bogus plans narrated by Central leadership,” he said, adding “BJP already knew they could never fulfill promise of jobs they made with educated people of J&K. Making of these fake promises was just to gain power,” he asserted.Among others who were present included Rampal Corporator, Shiv Dev Chib, Sham Singh, Dr. Bansi Lal, Ratan Lal Sharma, Shanta Devi, Jagdish Raj and Sagar Mal were also present.
